Commercial Carpentry & Drywall Solutions

Strong Tower Carpentry specializes in new reinforced-concrete, high-rise, multifamily affordable-housing developments throughout the Greater New York City metropolitan area.

Our primary pursuit is the complete Carpentry & Drywall package, including OSHA and NYC Department of Buildings Temporary Protection Systems. We provide planning, field supervision, execution, and accountability from mobilization through closeout.

Prevailing-Wage Expertise

Strong Tower Carpentry actively pursues and prefers prevailing-wage construction.

We understand that successful prevailing-wage contracting requires more than field production. It demands accurate payroll administration, proper employee classifications, strict timekeeping, current wage-schedule compliance, complete supporting documentation, and timely certified-payroll submissions.

Our team is experienced in preparing and submitting certified payroll reports, daily sign-in and time records, workforce documentation, wage and fringe-benefit information, and the electronic compliance submissions required by owners, developers, general contractors, and public agencies.

We treat prevailing-wage compliance as a core project responsibility—not an administrative afterthought. Our clients can expect complete, organized, and timely documentation throughout the project.

Open-Shop Operations and Project Labor Agreements

Strong Tower Carpentry is an open-shop contractor and operates with the management structure, workforce flexibility, and accountability necessary to perform major high-rise Carpentry & Drywall packages.

We are willing to review and execute a one-time, project-specific Project Labor Agreement when its terms are commercially reasonable and support the successful completion of the project.

Any proposed PLA must allow for safe, productive, and efficient field operations. Strong Tower will not accept blanket labor agreements or provisions containing burdensome, unproductive, or outdated work rules that interfere with staffing, production, management rights, schedule performance, or clear accountability.

Execution of a project-specific PLA does not alter Strong Tower Carpentry’s open-shop status outside that individual project.

Tier 1 Project Responsibility

Strong Tower Carpentry is a Tier 1 prime subcontractor with the leadership, field resources, financial capacity, insurance program, technology, and administrative infrastructure necessary to assume complete responsibility for major Carpentry & Drywall packages.

Our MBE certifications are professional qualifications. They do not replace capability and are not our primary value proposition.

When Strong Tower is invited to pursue a project, the expectation should be that we are being considered as a serious first-tier trade partner capable of planning, managing, staffing, documenting, and delivering the complete scope.

Technology & Innovation

Partition layout is no longer dependent on a limited group of traditional layout specialists. Strong Tower Carpentry uses robotic layout technology to transfer coordinated drawings directly onto the jobsite floor with exceptional precision.

This accelerates production, reduces layout errors and rework, and keeps projects moving without unnecessary delays.

Business Policies

Strong Tower is deliberate about where we commit our resources. We focus on new high-rise residential developments and client relationships where our experience provides the greatest value. We do not pursue renovations, refurbishments, commercial interior fit-outs, tenant improvements, retail construction, fast-food or restaurant work, gyms or fitness facilities, private homes, schools, educational institutions, or similar markets.

Within an individual building, we accept responsibility for the complete Carpentry & Drywall package rather than participating in split scopes that fragment accountability. On multibuilding developments, we can perform one building, several buildings, or the entire development, with the capacity to execute packages approaching $50 million.

Our business model does not include Performance or Payment Bonds, although Subcontractor Default Insurance programs are acceptable. Prequalification is not a one-way process. Strong Tower works with select general contractors and developers and reserves the right to evaluate and prequalify prospective clients before committing estimating, labor, financial, or management resources to an opportunity.

Our service area includes New York City’s five boroughs, Nassau County, Westchester County, and lower Fairfield County, Connecticut.
